“Today is the day the Lord hath made.  We will rejoice and be glad in it …”  What did the wise one mean by this?  Are we to react to the beauty around us or the contrasted ugliness sensed?  We are responsible for our thoughts and beliefs, and bring down upon ourselves the consequent experiences.  Find appreciation in yourself; take control of your interpretations and conclusions.  You are a particle of the Divine and have this power.
